Литературный клуб Зака — уникальный курс американской литературы этим летом!

Zach’s Book Club

Hey guys!

Everyone knows that in the summer, no one wants anything more than to get themselves to the beach, relax, and curl up with a good book soaking up the sun.

For those of us that can’t make that happen this year… I may have a solution.

For those of you who want to relax this summer, but still work on your English, I’m offering a special class, a book club. We will meet once every week for an hour and a half (90 minutes) and talk about short stories and literature.

Interested? Of course you are.

What do you need to do? Honestly, all you need to do is be able to read this announcement fluidly (It’s a literature class, after all. We will be reading.). I’m opening up the class to BI classes and higher. For those of you BI or BII students who might be on the fence (unsure): yes, this will be a challenge for you, but not a challenge you can’t overcome. I just need students who are willing to read a text and willing to talk about it. It’s going to be based on conversation, so if you make mistakes when you speak, don’t worry about it. We can work on that. What you need to do is be ready to talk.

For each class, you’ll have some text to read, maybe a short story or chapter of a book. At the end of the text, I will have vocabulary words. This means that our goals each week in class will be to (a) practice and learn about our new vocabulary and how to use it in speech and (b) have really interesting conversations about literature and how it relates to life.

Look, I know many of you who have read this far are interested. So, let’s do it! I need your help to make this happen.

I can’t wait to see your wonderful faces in class.
